Security

Made-to-order timber windows and doors which have been tested to meet part Q of the Building Regulations at Exova BMTRADA, a UKAS accredited certification body, within the overall Pas 24 Security testing standard. This is an extensive range of physical attacks carried out on the products to resist forced entry by intruders.

Acoustic

Products tested to BS EN ISO 10140 with certification available for standard designs or bespoke testing to suit the demands of your project. Acoustic performance is now a common concern with the increase in sound and the methods to exclude from our home or workplace an important consideration.

Thermal

Lomax + Wood provide products with U-values to meet and surpass Part L of the building regulations. The U values are calculated to industry standard sizes with U value certificates available or calculated specifically in relation to your project. With our ability to provide made-to-order timber windows and doors we can also provide triple glazed Passivhaus-certified timber windows and doors.

Fire

Working closely with Vetrotech, part of the Saint-Gobain group Lomax + Wood are able to offer a made-to-order service to provide timber windows to meet integrity/insulation requirements where a fire window is required.

Installation

The window performance is only as good as the complete fitted product. Lomax + Wood offer a range of fitting packages to suit the project. A service which enhances the overall product performance and provides the client with only one point of contact for overall window and door responsibility.
