Andrew Goding
Managing Director
Andrew has over 20 years’ experience within the timber window and door industry. Andrew joined Lomax + Wood in 2013 as Sales Director, having gained 10 years’ experience working as a Technical Sales Executive & Regional Sales Manager at Mumford and Wood. With Andrew’s technical background he was heavily involved with the window designs and product testing. Having watched the company grow from the beginning, in January 2020 he switched roles to become the company's Managing Director. “It has been a pleasure to work in the timber window industry for such a long time, every day is different. One day you’re working on a one-off new build house with box sash windows and the next you’re doing a historical property such as Kensington palace. I’ve been fortunate to work with so many gifted architects and developers.”
James Ritter
Surveying Manager
James graduated from Bournemouth University with a BSC Hons in CAD Design. At Lomax + Wood he has added his design expertise and helped develop the highest quality technical drawings, alongside detailed on site surveys. As the surveying manager James has bought all this expertise together, to work with architects, builders and private customers to co-ordinate dimensions and designs for both new build and refurbishment projects. James’s aim is to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met at each stage of the process from start to finish.
Steve Purcell
Sales Director
Steve Purcell has been involved in the timber window and door industry for over 30 years, both in manufacturing and sales. Steve brings a wide breadth of knowledge to Lomax + Wood. “I believe the Lomax + Wood brand offers a complete portfolio of top quality made- to- order timber windows and doors. The product range goes beyond the limitations of a single factory which enables us to supply our customers with all their fenestration requirements, including installation which provides one point of contact”.
David Hills
Operations Director
David Hills first trained straight from school as a CAD designer for a shop fitting specialist. This was followed by a period at a bespoke engineering company, where he learnt to interpret approximate customer requirements and translate those into detailed designs. For the past twelve years David has pursued a career in the made-to-order joinery business. With a particular eye for detail he has worked closely with private individuals and architects to produce the very best timber windows and door fenestration.
Cyd Grant
Sales Executive
Cyd has a keen eye for detail and a background in CAD, which ensures he is able to understand the client specification and ensure the requirements are met. He has dealt with a number of prestigious projects and ensured each part from the quotation through to the installation ran smoothly. “I have found many customers prefer our full supply and fit option as opposed to supply only, as the complete service ensures that Lomax + Wood look after the product from beginning to end, rather than a separate fitting company or builder.”
