Andrew Goding joins Lomax+Wood

Andrew Goding has joined specialist timber window and door manufacturer, Lomax + Wood, as Sales Director. Previously a Regional Sales Manager at Mumford & Wood he brings significant experience and contacts to the company which has recently re-branded and formerly traded as Ambass-A-Door.

Andrew initially worked as a CAD technician in the civil engineering industry before joining Mumford & Wood where he worked closely with Chris and gained 10 years’ experience in fenestration systems. Andrew has worked on many historic, conservation and listed buildings projects, as well as new-build developments and domestic refurbishments. In doing so, his customers have included architects, developers, contractors and homeowners. He will be working from the head office in South Kensington, London, until the company’s new showroom and offices in Ingatestone, Essex are open in early 2014.

His main responsibilities will be to promote sales and raise awareness of Lomax + Wood which offers a bespoke range of high quality, thermally efficient, traditional and contemporary style timber windows and doors. The range currently includes period sash windows, specified for many prestigious refurbishment and heritage projects; casements and tilt turn windows, as well as beautifully proportioned entrance doors, bi-fold and sliding doors.

The company’s vision is to introduce a single fenestration and joinery brand for architects, developers and designers of beautiful buildings and homes, supplying a comprehensive range of made-to-order joinery products in addition to windows and doors.

Lomax + Wood Limited is the amalgam of two industry-known experts in the timber window and door market: David Lomax, previously Managing Director of Ambass-A-Door, and Chris Wood, whose professional career includes the position of Managing Director at Mumford & Wood Limited.
