Lomax + Wood offer a full installation service for both developers and private homeowners. We tailor-make the service to suit the requirements of each, which varies from only fixing Lomax + Wood sash windows and wooden doors into position, through to a complete one-stop solution for homeowners. In using this service only the final property decoration is left for completion by others.
Our installation offer allows us to take full responsibility for the product, its performance and condition, leaving the purchaser to attend to other issues in the knowledge that there is only one point of contact, from site survey through to installation. Surveying Manager - James Ritter
James graduated from Bournemouth University with a BSC Hons in CAD Design. At Lomax + Wood he has added his design expertise and helped develop the highest quality technical drawings, alongside detailed on site surveys. As the surveying manager James has bought all this expertise together, to work with architects, builders and private customers to co-ordinate dimensions and designs for both new build and refurbishment projects. James’s aim is to ensure that the customers’ requirements are met at each stage of the process from start to finish.

Ideal for a new build project where there is a builder on site
- Supplied under Building Regulations and Planning Approval from the customer.
- Lomax + Wood will site survey or work from given sizes.
- Lomax + Wood will unload the vehicle and place in the agreed storage area.
- Lomax + Wood will fit into position.
- Builder to scaffold out for installation by Lomax + Wood.
- Silicone to external structural joint not included.
- All subject to site survey and the agreement of details.
- Excluding making good to internal and external openings and surfaces.
- All sold in accordance with Lomax + Wood Installation conditions of sales.
- The survey measures the existing openings but will not be an investigative process to determine those details that cannot be seen.
- Vertical loading is not included unless quoted for and confirmed in writing. Only horizontal loading is included.
Ideal for a refurbishment project where there is a builder on site
- Supplied under Building Regulations and Planning Approval from the customer.
- Lomax + Wood will site survey or work from given sizes.
- Lomax + Wood will unload the vehicle and place in the agreed storage area.
- Lomax + Wood will remove and dispose of existing windows and doors.
- Lomax + Wood will fit into position.
- Builder to scaffold out for installation by Lomax + Wood.
- Silicone to external structural joint not included.
- All subject to site survey and the agreement of details.
- Excluding making good to external and internal openings and surfaces.
- All sold in accordance with Lomax + Wood Installation conditions of sales.
- The survey measures the existing openings but will not be an investigative process to determine those details that cannot be seen.

Suitable for a private customer who wants a complete solution.
- Supplied under FENSA or Building Regulations and Planning Approval from the customer.
- Lomax + Wood will site survey taking complete responsibility for sizes.
- Lomax + Wood will unload the vehicle and place in the agreed storage area.
- Lomax + Wood will scaffold out if required to allow safe installation of timber windows and doors.
- Lomax + Wood will remove and dispose of existing windows and doors.
- Lomax + Wood will fit into position.
- Lomax + Wood will make good internal plaster ready for pre-decoration treatment and finish by others.
- Lomax + Wood will manufacture and fit semi-finished architrave and window boards if required.
- Lomax + Wood will finish external joint between frames and structure externally with silicone or appropriate period alternative.
- Customer to arrange external and internal final decoration of the property. Including preparing surfaces.
- All in sold in accordance with Lomax + Wood Installation conditions of sale.
- The survey measures the existing openings but will not be an investigative process to determine those details that cannot be seen.
Supply only service for private individuals and the building industry
- Supplied under Building Regulations and Planning Approval from the customer
- Not supplied under FENSA as supply only
- Lomax + Wood will site survey or work from given sizes if openings not formed
- All final details subject to site survey and the agreement of details
- CAD drawings of each item provided for approval prior to manufacture
- Survey includes to measure the structural opening and take responsibility for the manufacturing sizes, excluding those provided to us where openings are not formed
- The survey measures the existing openings but will not be an investigative process to determine those details that cannot be seen
- All sold in accordance with Lomax + Wood supply only conditions of sales
