When a prestigious address on New Bond Street required new windows for its transformation from an antiques specialist to a luxury fashion flagship store, the specification demanded nothing less than perfection. The historic building at 123–124 New Bond Street needed timber windows that would respect Mayfair’s architectural heritage whilst meeting the exacting standards expected of one of the world’s most exclusive retail destinations.

Lomax + Wood was selected to manufacture and install twelve bespoke timber box sash windows for Del Core’s new London flagship.

Working within one of the capital’s most prestigious conservation areas meant every detail needed careful consideration and expert execution. The specification centred on engineered Dark Red Meranti timber, chosen for its exceptional stability and natural beauty. This premium hardwood was used throughout the window frames and cills, providing the structural integrity and visual refinement befitting such a prominent location. The frames were finished externally in RAL 9010, a crisp pure white that harmonises with New Bond Street whilst creating the perfect backdrop for luxury retail displays.

Period-appropriate polished brass ironmongery was specified throughout, adding authentic detail and a sense of quality.
